The area
Locksmith Castalla, Onil and Tibi, and every corner of Ibi
Ibi and the rest of the Foia de Castalla: the town’s 21 barrios, its 23 partides of farmhouses and chalets, its six industrial estates, and the towns of Castalla, Onil and Tibi across the valley. Here is what is covered and how to describe where you are.

Ibi, part by part
Four parts of one town, and what to say for each
The old town and the centre
The Casco Antiguo round the Church of the Transfiguration, with its twin towers and blue-glazed dome, the 17th-century Llotja and the Casa Gran: older houses and family homes on the slope of the hill.
On the phone: Street and number. If the street is narrow, say where a car can stop nearest to the door.
The barrios of the boom years
Ibi more than tripled between 1960 and 1981 as the toy factories grew, and much of the town round the old centre was built in those years: blocks of flats with a street door, a staircase and a door on every landing.
On the phone: Street, number, floor and door letter, and whether the street door of the block is open.
The partides
Twenty-three partides of almond and olive land with about a hundred named farmhouses, and chalets out in els Plans, la Devesa and les Hortes.
On the phone: The partida and the name of the mas or chalet, then a live location on WhatsApp from the gate. Partida addresses are hard to find from a street name alone.
The industrial estates
Alfaç, Alfaç II, Alfaç III (the largest), Casa Pau, Derramador and Retiro-Casanova: more than 550 companies, mostly plastics and metal.
On the phone: The estate, the street and the company name on the gate, and which door: staff door, office or loading bay.

Across the Foia
Castalla, Onil and Tibi, across the valley
Ibi shares the Foia de Castalla with three towns, and all three are covered for every service on this site. The valley’s toy-making history runs through all of them.
Castalla
Ten kilometres west, under its castle on the hill. Around 11,900 people, and an industrial estate of its own.
Onil
Eleven kilometres west: the town of dolls, where FAMOSA was founded in 1957, with the Marquis of Dos Aguas’ palace as its town hall.
Tibi
Eleven kilometres south, the smallest of the four, known for its reservoir built between 1580 and 1594.
Where the area stops: Alcoi, Xixona, Biar, Banyeres de Mariola border the Foia but are not part of it. If you are unsure, ring and ask; you will get a straight answer.
Being found
Giving an address that can be found
- In town: street, number, floor and door letter, and the barrio if the street is short.
- In a partida: the partida, the name of the mas or chalet, and a live location sent on WhatsApp from the gate. A street name alone rarely gets a driver there.
- On an estate: the estate, the street, the company name on the gate, and which door.
- At Sant Pasqual or on a walk: the car park or the nearest landmark, and a pin. A locked car at Sant Pasqual.
All of it can go in one WhatsApp message with a photo of the lock: contact.
Parts list
Every service, everywhere on this page
Ibi, Castalla, Onil and Tibi get the same seven services. Lockouts, door opening and locked cars are attended at any hour, through the emergency line; the rest is booked.
- A1 The door has shut and I am on the wrong side Emergency locksmith The latch caught behind you, the keys went missing on the way home, half a key is still in the cylinder. A person answers at any hour and tells you honestly how long the drive will be.
- A2 This door needs opening without wrecking it Door opening Flat doors in the blocks of the boom years, armoured doors, garden gates and the heavy doors of a mas in the partides. The latch and the cylinder are tried first; drilling waits for your say-so.
- A3 The lock is worn, or other people have keys to it Lock change & repair A cylinder that sticks, a multipoint lock that has to be lifted to turn, or a resale flat where nobody knows who kept a key. Booked for a day that suits you.
- A4 It is the unit, the shop or the office Units, shops & offices The staff door of a unit on Alfaç, the office inside it, a shop on the main street, a padlocked store. Opened, or its locks changed, around your working hours. No welding, no metalwork.
- A5 Somebody has forced the door, or tried to After a break-in The door made to shut and lock on the first visit. Then, when you are ready, a high-security cylinder, a guard plate or a stronger lock.
- A6 The car is locked with the keys inside Locked car Keys on the seat, in the boot or still in the ignition. The door is opened without damage, and opening it is the whole job.
- A7 The safe will not open, or I want one fitted Safes A keypad that has gone dark, a code nobody wrote down, a safe inherited with the flat. Opened with as little damage as possible; new safes anchored where they cannot be carried off.
Wherever in the Foia you are standing
Say the town, then the street, the partida or the estate. A pin on WhatsApp does the rest.
